Teaching Statement

Marsha Pabarue currently serves as an Education Sponsor for the Seventh-day Adventist church. She currently works with graduate and under-graduate students pursuing degrees in the areas of education and business. As a practitioner and facilitator of learning, the aim is to allow for practical application to the theories presented in class. She also spends hours outside of scheduled class time to advise, mentor and coach students.

Bio

Marsha Pabarue joined the adjunct faculty of the University College of the Caribbean in Spring 2016. She is an Assistant Professor of Educational Administration and Leadership in the Department of Graduate Education and Leadership at Northern Caribbean University. Her current research examines the nine characteristics of a highly performing school in central Manchester. Dr. Pabarue received her Doctor of Education degree in Education with an emphasis in Organisational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She also earned a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from same and Bachelor Degrees from Northern Caribbean University. She has been an educator for over fifteen years and has worked from the elementary to tertiary levels. She has also conducted workshops on Organisation Synergy and Action Research. She worked at Nova Southeastern’s College of Pharmacy with faculty in the field of Socio-behavioural and Administrative Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Pharmacy Practice. There she facilitated students from countries such as Ghana, Zimbabwe, India, Bangladesh, Trinidad and Tobago, Japan, and Taiwan. Dr. Pabarue was also an adjunct professor in the Department of Business at City College in Fort Lauderdale.
