Micro-credentials: our micro-credentials are self-paced and do not offer tutor support.
Degrees: a tutor will be available for each course in our degree programs.
Micro-credentials are short courses, professional certificates and degree specializations offered by UCC. They provide specialized, career relevant skills which you can immediately apply in your workplace. Micro-credentials don't count as credit towards a degree program however, are recognized with a certificate of completion which you can use to demonstrate your new skills to employers.
Self-paced degrees are available on-demand, and 100% online allowing you to start your program immediately and progress at your own pace. They offer the same academic rigor and content as any other degree program, but with greater flexibility.
UCC's Accelerated MBA Advanced Certification is a compressed study program designed to provide business professionals with advanced business skills in just six months.

Our courses are self-paced and auto-graded, this means you can complete coursework in your own time within a one-year period.
Our programs emphasize the practical application of knowledge and skills over theoretical concepts. Students can expect to gain an understanding of broad theories with a focus on learning to use what they learn in the classroom to solve real-world problems and challenges.

Our course content is reviewed and updated on an on-going basis.
At this time, our micro-credential courses do not count toward a degree program. However, we're currently looking at various options to make this possible.
No, your degree certificate will look the same as the degree certificates received by students who have completed their study on campus.
Please declare how you would prefer to receive your final diploma upon completing your program in the graduation application process. For more information regarding conferral, please get in touch with graduation@ucc.edu.jm
Micro-credentials: You must complete the course after two attempts at the final exam to receive your certificate of completion or badge. If you fail, you may opt to register, pay and retake the course. Degrees: You are eligible to retake a failed course once. To do so, you'll need to re-register and pay for your retaken course. Unfortunately, if you fail the same course a second time, you will be placed on academic hold. In this instance, we recommend that you contact the Registry to discuss your situation by emailing: registry@uccglobal.co
Micro-credentials: Our short learning programs are pass or fail and do not generate a grade. You will receive a certificate of completion upon successfully passing the course. Degrees: You can find your grades in the Grades tab within the Canvas Learning Management System.
Our end-of-course quizzes are auto-graded and you should receive your grade the same day you complete your assessment or exam.

New graduation application
Click on Graduation Application to begin the graduation process.

You’ll be directed to a page with information and instructions relating to the graduation application. Carefully read the instructions and click next.
Some important Graduation dates will be displayed on this page. Make note of them then click next to continue.
Fill out the form displayed on the next page. Please note that some data on this page has already been populated, some of which are not editable. If any information is incorrect, please
contact the Records Department, in the Registry.
Click the submit button to submit the Graduation Application.
View Graduation Application Status
In the row of the intended graduation application, select view details.
You should be able to see the previously edited information. To edit the application, click on the edit application button. Note that the editing option might only be available based on
the - application’s current approval stage and if the deadline has not passed. To return to the graduation application dashboard, click on Back to Dashboard.
To view comments made by the approvers at various stages, click on the Comments tab. You can add comments here by typing in the provided field and then clicking post.

Upon completing your course, you will receive a certificate of completion and a link to a digital badge.
Our grading policy is available within your course syllabus. Access your syllabus by logging into your course in Canvas. Grading policies can vary slightly from course to course.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any scholarships for this program.
You will have opportunities to interact with other students throughout the program. The level of interaction will vary by course and tutor.
Our programs are self-paced. The amount of time you spend on coursework is up to you, and the more hours you spend, the faster you can complete your course.
Our short learning programs are designed utilizing Open Educational Resources; you will not be required to purchase any additional resources (i.e. books) to complete your course.
The UCC is accredited by the UK-based Accreditation Services for International Colleges & Universities (ASIC) and is an ASIC Premier Institution. This accreditation confirms that we meet high standards for education, welfare, and good practice.
Our programmes are entirely online; you will not require a visa while you study with us.

No, there is no need to provide a reference while applying for our programs.
Micro-credentials: you have three days from the date you enroll to withdraw from your course, provided you have not completed your first assessment. Otherwise, you have up to
one year to complete the course and receive your certificate of completion.

No, all study and assessments are completed online.
Micro-credentials: there is no application process or entry requirements. Simply add your course to your cart and check out.
Degrees: to study a Master's program, you will need to prove you have previously completed a bachelor's degree.
You will receive a decision via email shortly after it’s been reviewed. The email will confirm your provisional admittance into the program and explain how you can get your studies started. You can also view your application status on your personal dashboard. Please check your dashboard regularly to keep up to date on your application’s progress.

First, try checking your junk mail. 2. If you cannot find the email, go to credential.net, and click 'Sign In' in the top right-hand corner of the webpage. Use the 'Forgot Password?' function to set a new password using the email address attached to your Canvas account. 3. If neither of these options is successful, raise a case with us through the Contact Us form on the Resources tab of the website.
Micro-credentials: you cannot switch from one micro-credential to another.
Degrees: yes, you can switch programs. For information on how to change program, please get in touch with Registry by emailing: registry@uccglobal.co
All of our programs are self-paced and on-demand, which means you can study at a time that suits you.
While none of our degrees are considered 'terminal degrees', if you intend to study for your PHD, you should consider enrolling in our MBA Research track program.
There is no set order in which you need to take our courses. When you’re ready to move on, simply select the course you’d like to start next. Micro-credentials are all single course purchases. If you are enrolled in an Accelerated MBA, follow the steps on your dashboard to find your next course.
Our courses are offered on-demand; you can start at any time.
You can upload your documents through your dashboard. You'll find an 'Upload Documents' link next to your application.
Yes! We'd love to have you attend the live graduation ceremony.
You’ll require a working knowledge of the English language at a post-graduate study level in order to be admitted onto one of our degree programs.
Micro-credentials: unfortunately, you cannot take a Leave of Absence (LOA) from a micro-credential.
Degrees: you will need a valid and approved reason to take a Leave of Absence from your program. Please see Policies and Procedures at the bottom of the homepage for full LOA
conditions.
We’re committed to providing mental health support for all our students. Here’s what we offer:
UCC Chaplain: A Counsellor/Chaplain is appointed to each campus. Our students can arrange to meet our support team as and when they require additional support.
Our Counsellor/Chaplains are available for students twice per semester during our workshop presentations. Additionally, at our Worthington Campus, our designated counsellor is open
for walk-ins on Mondays from 10 am–1 pm.
Tele-Counselling: The Department has started negotiations with a Tele-counselling agency to provide remote counselling services to students across all UCC campuses.

There is no specific order by which you must take our courses. You can choose your next course now through your student dashboard.
Our online course offerings are entirely new. We’re collecting data all the time, and once we can publish post-graduate employment statistics, we will do so.

Micro-credentials: you can take a break between courses (if you want to study more than one) and enroll any time you're ready to study.
Degrees: are full study programs. You can choose to take a break from your degree however, will still only have five years in total to complete your program. We recommend taking a
leave of absence if you need an extended break. For more information on a leave of absence, please see Policies and Procedures at the bottom of this page.
Once you have paid for your course, it can take up to fifteen minutes for your registration button (blue play button) to be enabled. If this time has passed and you still can't log in to Canvas, then please get in touch with our technical team using the Contact Us form in the Resources tab of the website.

We accept payments from debit or credit cards. Alternatively, you can defer your payment to sponsor by selecting 'Sponsor Payment' at check out.
Our courses are not eligible for the alumni discount.
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer payment via bank transfer.
You can pay for your next course at any time. Register and pay for your next course by logging into your Student Dashboard in the top right hand side of your screen.
Unfortunately, instalment plans are not available. However, courses can be paid for on a pay-as-you-go basis.
All our courses are pay-as-you-go with on-demand access. There’s no payment deadline; simply pay when you’re able to and get started right away!
All of our programs are self-paced, if you can’t make a payment for your next course, we recommend that you take a break until you are able to do so.
Yes, your employer can fund your studies through debit or credit card payments. Click 'Sponsor Payment' at checkout and enter their contact details to send them a payment link.
All our students pay the same fees, regardless of location.

Your login details for Canvas are the same credentials you used when you started your application form (degrees) or paid for your course (micro-credentials). Micro-credentials: You have three days from the date you enroll to request a refund, provided you have not completed your first assessment.
You can request a refund by reaching out using the Contact Us form on the Resources tab. You will need to include your reason for requesting a refund, full name, email address and
the date of purchase.
Degrees: Refunds apply to your first module only.
You will qualify for a:
• 100% refund – if you withdraw from your course by the second day of class (on days 1 or 2)
• 75% refund – if you withdraw from your course by the fourth day of class (on days 3 or 4)
